Quite a while back (September 8, 2014), we told you about the monumental project of restoring the 130 year old St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City.  I wanted to give you some insight into the progess that has been made since our orginal post.  Here is a link to a wonderful website that has much information as well as some cool video of the work that has been done. While the 5th Avenue facade work was completed and revealed in December, 2014, the project is not expected to be wholly completed until December 2015.

It is a work of great love to keep our beautiful places of worship in working order.  Hats off to all of the priests, parishioners and our wonderful specialized companies that perform the painstaking process of restoring plaster, works of art, stained glass, roofing, etc. that make our churches beautiful places to worship.
